The Derma Sciences Ltd Clinical Trials Management System (DSCTMS) is a propriety system that has been created over a number of years. The system consists of a computerised, interactive, subject database containing full histories on over 20,000 subjects and a study management system that hold details of the entry criteria for all Derma Sciences Ltd studies. It is the function of DSCTMS to match subjects to studies in a rapid, time-efficient, manner. This allows Derma Sciences Ltd to offer very short lead-in times for even the most challenging of study types.
DSCTMS has:

- Speciality panels
- Special consumer profiles (habits, brand loyal subjects)
- Ethnic panels (Indian, Chinese, Japanese, African, Hispanic)
- The system also allows the efficient and rapid recruitment of acute conditions such as cough/colds.
